Last weekend Mike took us out of town on a very last minute getaway. We went to The Ashley Inn in Cascade, ID. It's an incredible hotel and I highly suggest everyone try it out. We had a very nice room with a Therapy Bath Tub in it! They had a indoor pool and hot tub which we enjoyed all three days. My kids are like fish! They served cookies and milk at 8:00pm every night - the girls loved that. Okay the parents did too!
We took the kids on an Sleigh Ride that took you to feed the elk!
When we went into the area the elk were in - they came right up to us and starting eating off the hay bales we were sitting on - it was pretty crazy.
The elk were almost in our lap - they were snorting on us and breathing in my ear. It was gross! I ended up getting an asthma attack towards the end and it was a long drive to McCall for relief but it was worth it - we had a blast!

I think we know the person who owns that elk ride thingymajig..or at least know the person who's related to the person who owns the land that allows the rides..blah blah blah..anyway, bottom line is: NEXT TIME YOU GO TAKE ME! :)
