Spring Break - - - Better late then never...

Spring Break was almost a month ago so I better get back to blogging and post some photos!

This year we went to Phoenix and we had an awesome time!! My parents are in their new house and so we were able to break it in!! The girls got to swim every single day, we went to the Thunderbird Airshow, the Phoenix Zoo, The Tortilla Factory, Margaritaville, we golfed, went to Spring Training for the Major League Baseball teams, hung out with friends and got to spend time with other family members that were there for Spring Break as well. Here are just a few photos - trust me this isn't much - we took hundreds of photos!

Dinner at The Tortilla Factory! It sounds like a chain but it's not -

there is only one and it is sooooo good!
Swimming was a major part of our trip and the girls got to do it every day! My parents have a great new pool and we were the first ones to use it! We also went over to the club house to swim at the "grandparents" pool. It was a huge pool and there were other kids for the girls to play with! In this photo the girls are playing with a bunch of toy snakes. Sounds weird but my mom uses them to keep the birds off her patio! Caitlin playing with her cousin Jake!

My cousin Tom - Jake's dad

My Aunt Deanna and Uncle Carlos! It was so fun having them down there! My mom and I hitting some balls

Mike helping the girls with their swing

Thunderbird Airshow- Nice eye candy - I'm talking about the planes!!
Most people don't know this but I used to want to be a fighter pilot - Caitlin now thinks this would be cool to do! Mikayla wants to keep her feet firmly planted on the ground.

A bad wind storm came through and we had 50 mph wind gusts. Thankfully, the jets were still able to fly!

We love our Air Force!!

Mike and I at the Zoo
Family photo op!!

The girls loved the camel ride!
I had the pleasure of having lunch with a girl friend of mine from Up with People while we were there. Natalie and I spent 4 hours chatting the afternoon away! It was great!!!

Flowers you don't want to pick!

Ahhh - the pool that the kids spent hours and hours in!
Thanks mom and Bob - it was a FABULOUS vacation!
