To Sell or not to sell...

We have a beautiful home that we bought last May and thought we would be in it for along time. Well that may not be the case. Mike is going back to school to get his EE degree and his job at SuperValu is sadly coming to an end in June. So we either need to sell our house, or find Mike a new job, or we rent the house out and move in with Bob and Irene. If we sell should we finish the bonus room first or lower the price a little so someone else can finish it. If we sell we will most likely not get what we put down on it. so it's better to hold onto the house until the market improves, right? Oh the decisions.

Lord, I really need a clear sign to know what to do. I know I should be patient and I am trying not to worry or control this situation but it's hard. I feel like maybe I should just pray for peace. There is so much going on, I can't figure it out so I am once again going to just pray for peace of mind and to find peace in my heart over all of this.

Thank you Patton Family...

Thank you Aunt Andrea, Uncle Kevin, Nathan and Dillon - we just got done playing the horse game you bought Mikayla for her birthday and we loved it! It's a great game to have on family game night. We all loved playing it and of course b/c it is all about matching up horses it is now a favorite! Thanks again!
And the winner is...

Congratulations Irene for winning NAWBO's (National Association of Women Business Owners) Boise's Women of the Year Award!

What an example you are for women everywhere!
Helping friends...

Yesterday I helped my friend Tarah redo the kitchen cabinets in the house she and Scott (her husband) are trying to sell. I started my day going through the drive through at Moxie to treat myself to the first Moxie I've had in about 2 weeks. I then headed over to Tarah's old house and found her in the middle of the dining floor surrounded my cabinet doors. I quickly joined in and spent the morning hours scraping crackle paint off the doors, sanding and then painting. Mike and the girls came over later to help Scott with the sanding, so Tarah and I started on our second project of painting one of the bedrooms.
During the whole event they ended up having 2 showings - not sure what people thought of seeing the cabinet doors laying all over the house and Tarah and I wearing our oh so fancy paint attire trying to finish our projects but I pray there house will sell soon. It's a really cute house and is very bright and clean inside.
After the day was over we enjoyed pizza and drinks with our friends and we found that our kids play really well together. It was a great day. Mike and I are always there to help our friends out - we are cheap labor - just give us a slice of pizza and a drink and we are there.
