Fish 1 and Fish 2
This last weekend we decided instead of driving somewhere to have a mini-vacation to just stay in Boise. I must admit the number one reason for sticking around was the gas prices!So we didn't tell anyone where we were going and we rented a room at one of the hotels in Boise. We had a GREAT time swimming on Saturday and Sunday! I can't believe how much has changed in the last 3 months with the girls. At the beginning of summer Caitlin could swim a little, Mikayla not much at all but now we were all swimming in the deep end and the girls were even racing each other across the pool. It was so fun to be able to play like that and not have to constantly hold them up.
Mikalyas favorite thing was to jump in the deep end (6 feet) and lay on the bottom of the pool and then spring to the top as fast as she could. She did this over and over and over and over again. Caitlin loved jumping in as well of course and she challenged herself to keep her splash as tiny as possible. Dive team USA?? Caitlin loved racing all of us too - she starts swim team in September! I've concluded that both kids are part fish! Liya - you will be shocked how far she has come! Maybe she can race you when you are here next week??
Besides swimming we went to dinner at Joe's Crab Shack and ate the rest of the meals at the hotel. Kind of spendy but not as bad as what it could have been if we had gone somewhere out of town!

FUN!!!! Where'd ya stay?
We stayed at the Double Tree Riverside - they have the biggest pool which is what we were wanting. It was a blast!
FUN!!!! The girls are growing SOO fast.
