Happy 4th of July - (a little late I know)....

We had a great 4th of July this year. It was full of swimming, BBQ's and dreams coming true!

Since we had just moved the only thing I wanted to do was relax. So we pretty much spent the day just having fun. We went on a bike ride with the kids at park and took them down by the Greenbelt. The Greenbelt is one of the many things I love about Boise. Here's a little snip-it about what the greenbelt is for those who don't live here.

The Boise Greenbelt links over 850 acres of parks and natural areas along the Boise River, including a 25-mile long bicycle and pedestrian path, paved except for a 1.5 mile section from Barber Park downstream. Year-round visitors can see songbirds, ducks, Canada geese, great blue heron and bald eagles in the winter. Wildlife viewing is best in early morning or late afternoon

After that we came home and swam for a little while in the new pool. It's been a great source of summer entertainment for all of us! Then off to a friend’s house for a BBQ. We had a great time just sitting back relaxing with everyone.
We ended up leaving a little early to get to the baseball where we watched the Boise Hawks win and then it was time for what we were really there to see. Mike's mom's Liberty Statue being unveiled followed by a firework show.

I can't even begin to explain what Liberty is all about so I advise going to her web-site and follow her along her tour by clicking on the Latest News. I am so happy for Irene and what an example she is setting for anyone who has been to afraid to go out and live their dream. http://www.libertyletsroll.com/
