On Sunday we awoke to about 4 inches of new snow! We were all so excited to play in the snow so after we put on the appropriate clothing out we went to play. There is an empty lot next to our house and we discovered that the way the wind was blowing the snow drifts stopped about 3 feet before the fence, making a great wall the kids could hide behind when being attacked during a snow ball fight. Mike had a great time playing over there too.
Mike and I built a snow slide for the girls out of the snow we shoveled off of the driveway. We built it so it would bank around a turn and keep on going. It was a lot of fun - good work out too. The pictures were taken later in the day, after the temp got up to 36 degrees so the snow was already melting!

Hey our neighbors do that with the snow, too! We just chuck ours all in the 3rd bay driveway and let the kids sled down that, but the neighbors get theirs all purrty like yours. Good job!
Hey, can we come over????
I love the pictures! How fun to be creative and play outside with your kiddos! It must be a HUGE change from life in Texas.
Hey, I just noticed something...Mikes hair is long! I think I've only ever seen it short..I try to get Chris to keep hers a little bit longer but he can hardly stand it.
Yes he is growing it out a little. No more buzzed hair cuts. I finally got him to go to my salon instead of Sports Clips. They are in the process of "fixing" what was done to him and getting him a cool - non military - hair style!
