Weekend fun...

Well, to make this short and sweet, we traded our cars in and we were able to lower our monthly payments! Believe it or not we traded a 2006 Honda Accord for a 2006 Subaru Forester and a 2007 Honda Pilot for a 2007 Toyota RAV4. It's strange how we lowered our payments but were still able to get great cars. We are thrilled with the new cars and the fact they are both AWD.

Here are some interesting facts -
January 31st, 1999 - we signed an earnest money agreement for our first house
January 31st, 2000 - We signed another earnest money agreement for our second house
January 31st, 2001 - we went in for an ultra sound and found out that we were having a girl
May 23, 2006 - we bought my Honda Accord
January 31st, 2007 - we signed an agreement with a Realtor to sell our house in Texas
January 31st, 2008 - we will have to register both of our new cars.

You are probably wondering why I listed those things. Well January 31st is my birthday and May 23rd is our anniversary. It seems that we like to make big decisions on either my birthday or our anniversary. I just find it very interesting.

Saturday - The girls went over to Mike's parents house to have a sleep over. They had a great time! Irene took the girls to the fabric store and they each got to pick out fabric of their choice and then they each designed their own play dresses and Irene did all the sewing. The girls look so cute and I am amazed at what Irene can do in a short period of time. I need to take lessons.

So with no kids in tow - Mike and I went over to a friends house once their kiddo's were down for the night and had a great evening just hanging out and watching old home video's that the guys made about 11 years ago. We had a great night B & A!

Sunday we slept in, went to a movie and then met back up with the girls. It was relaxing day!
Both girls are hoping that with all the snow coming our way this week they may get a snow day and be able to stay home from school. We shall see...
